Korindo Energy, the authorised dealer for Scania marine engines in Singapore, proudly supplies the power behind the newly launched RAPID XIPHIAS, a Firefighting (FiFi) Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV).

Unveiled on 4 July 2025 at ST Engineering’s Benoi shipyard, the RAPID XIPHIAS will undergo sea trials to validate next-generation capabilities such as AI-enabled hotspot detection, unmanned HazMat sensing, autonomous navigation, underwater search, and remote lifebuoy deployment.

Developed through collaboration between HTX, SCDF, and ST Engineering, this cutting-edge vessel will strengthen Singapore’s maritime firefighting readiness and pave the way for the future of life-saving operations at sea.
